Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915, in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, used her astonishing writing skills as well as her impressive researching skills to create the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book called"No Man knows My History was published in 1945. This title is taken from the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by declaring: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know the depths of my soul." No man knows my history. I can't tell. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment there have been at least three writers who have risen to this challenge. They do not have a lack of documents, they just contradict each with respect to each other. It is a difficult task to assemble these documents and separate first-hand stories from copies that are third-hand and integrating Mormon narratives with non-Mormon ones to form a cohesive collection. This is both exciting and instructive. Fawn Brodie's life as a professional was dedicated to this goal. Her work in research and writing brought her fame around the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. An intimate History (1974) and posthumously Richard Nixon.
