Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There together with his three classmates, he formed his own group, White Eskimo. Their excellent performances helped them beat their first Battle of Bands 2009. Although he has an interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. His band was forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation began in 2010 and the five young people were supported by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders to win the award. They were in third spot after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and were the winners. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds in a contract for One Direction.
