Kari Sam Wuhrer born on April 28, 1968, is an American actor and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was a teenager. Her most notable roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). She has 3 siblings. When she was in her teens she was a nightclub performer when she escaped from her home. Kari Samantha Wuhrer, an American model and actress was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on the 28th of April 1967. She was a Brookfield local birthed in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April 1967. Her father is both a German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. Kari was a nightclub singer as teens, sneaking out of her home to perform. Kari at the time was 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor who was known as Uta. Kari began acting when she was a teenager. Her breakthrough was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
