Guarnaschelli, Maria Guarnaschelli's daughter , is an editor of cookbooks. She graduated from Barnard College in 1991 with an education in art history. She was employed in the American Place restaurant for one year at the minimum wage , from 1991 until 1991. Guarnaschelli began her culinary career in the kitchen of her mother, watching her cook and edit cookbooks. Guarnaschelli's first job was under Larry Forgione. Her son Marc Forgione was the Iron Chef. Guarnaschelli went on to be employed at several restaurants in France as well as Los Angeles. Guy Savoy manages La Butte Chaillot. Prior to being hired by Butter as their executive chef, Guarnaschelli was employed for Daniel Boulud at his eponymous restaurant. She was executive chef at The Darby restaurant before its closing. She chaired the museum's Culinary Council. Guarnaschelli has published her first book in 2013. "Old School Foods: What I learned To cook" comprises personal stories and recipes that Guarnaschelli adapted from her professional experience. Jamie Jamie Jamie
